Connect once, then research companies, screen stocks and work with your portfolios without copying data between apps.

Connect in three steps

Add the server

Create a custom MCP connector and paste the URL above.

Sign in

Use your Investors Engine account in the browser window.

Approve access

Review the access request, continue, then return to your assistant.

MCP requires Premium. No API key or client secret is needed.

Choose your assistant

Claude

Open Customize, then Connectors.
Select + Add, then Add custom connector.
Name it Investors Engine and paste the server URL.
Choose Sign in now and Use Claude's published identity.
Add the connector and finish approval in your browser.

On Team or Enterprise, an owner adds the connector in Organization settings first.

ChatGPT

Open Plugins in ChatGPT on the web.
Select +, then Add custom MCP server.
Name it Investors Engine and paste the server URL.
Choose OAuth and leave client credentials empty.
Create the plugin, connect your account and install it.

If Plugins is unavailable, check your ChatGPT workspace settings.

Claude Code

Run /mcp, select investors-engine and connect.

Cursor

Add this to .cursor/mcp.json, then connect from Settings, MCP.

Connection help

Claude says the connection did not finish

If approval stayed on investorsengine.com, remove the unfinished connector and add the production URL again. Keep the browser open until it returns you to Claude.

Approval opened the staging site

Stop there and contact support. Do not approve access on staging. Your production connection should stay on investorsengine.com.

The browser asks you to sign in

Sign in with the same Investors Engine account that has Premium, then continue. You do not need to create a separate MCP account.

You previously connected staging or another URL

Remove that connector and create a new one using https://investorsengine.com/mcp. OAuth connections are tied to the original server URL.

The assistant shows a subscription error

Confirm Premium is active, then retry. A reconnect is not normally required. You can check this in your account settings.
